Glendale Library Temporary Closure Announcements Re Coronavirus Pandemic – And Access to Digital Resources

Glendale Library, Arts & Culture is working closely with our parent agency, the City of Glendale, to monitor developments of the COVID-19 outbreak and have taken precautions to help prevent its spread. In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Glendale Library, Arts & Culture Department, under the direction of the City of Glendale, is closing all library locations and cancelling all programs, events, and classes scheduled through March 29, 2020.

Library staff will continue to report to work and will be available from 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday – Saturday, in order to continue to provide telephone and chat services to the public.

Glendale Library, Arts & Culture has taken the following steps :

  • Extension of library material due dates and time to pick-up holds.
  • Discontinuation, until further notice, of the acceptance of donated materials.

Glendale Library, Arts & Culture offers many digital resources that you can access from home with your library card, including eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, movies, music, and even online classes. You can even manage your account and search the library catalog online. Don’t have a library card? You can get one by filling out this form online to get a temporary card that will give you access to all of our digital resources.
